Emilio Cancio-Bello, known globally as Yeyo (Yeyo787), was born in Cupey, Puerto Rico. It was there were he became one of the pioneers of the Latin Hip-Hop and Urban scenes with the creation of the Internationally acclaimed Shangai Assasins. The composer, producer and entrepreneur moved to Miami, Florida in 2003 where he took specialized courses and graduated at the top of his class as a sound engineer. In 2005, he signed a publishing agreement with Sony / ATV and a recording contract with Epic Records for his innovative group The DEY, the first Latino group to sign with an American label making bilingual music. The DEY not only mixed languages in their songs but also fused musical genres such as Hip-Hop, R & B, Reggae, Dancehall, Salsa and others, something that has always characterized Yeyo as a producer. His music has also been showcased in movies and video games such as the NBA 2K franchise.
