Spiny Norman’s new single ‘Razorblade’ is a folk-rock song with country and blues influences. It has typical instrumentation with an acoustic guitar and an electric slide guitar, but also a synthesizer for a modern edge. Think of a mix between Bob Dylan, Hasil Adkins and the Rolling Stones. The lyrics and vocal performance present a caricature of the folk genre and the guitar playing at times reminds of that of Keith Richards.
