Ras Karbi was born on the Island of Jamaica. After graduating the Jamaica School of Art, he was awarded scholarships by The Brooklyn Museum Art School in New York, and later by the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. Here he studied sculpture and acting, while pursuing a degree in music at Brown University. With his music, Ras Karbi is able to spread a special amount of positivity to his listeners. In a world governed by injustice, cruelty, material prosperity and being ruined by greed and spiritual bankruptcy, your heart will sync its beats to the rhythm as you listen to ‘Jah Rastaman’ by Ras Karbi and The Wailers. The song was recorded in 1981 in the Tuff Gong Studio, days before Bob Marley's death. Now available on streaming platforms for the first time. Enjoy!
